Preparation and Storage

• Reconstitution

  Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Background: TBX6

TBX6 (T-box protein 6) is a 47 kDa member of the T-box family of transcriptional regulators. It is expressed during embryogenesis, plays a role in presomitic mesoderm development, and promotes delta-like 1 transcription. Human TBX6 is 436 amino acids (aa) in length. It contains one T?box DNA-binding domain (aa 90?277). There is one alternate splice form that shows a 15 aa substitution for aa 281?436. Over aa 1?280, human TBX6 shows 94% and 90% aa identity with canine and mouse TBX6, respectively.
